Miami Dolphins take care of business against Jets, but focus shifts to tougher opponents

The Miami Dolphins defeated the New York Jets 20-3 on Black Friday to improve to 8-3 on the season. However, the Dolphins know that they will face tougher opponents in the coming weeks.

The Dolphins were led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Raheem Mostert also had a strong game, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown.

The Dolphins defense was also impressive, holding the Jets to just 168 yards of total offense. Cornerback Xavien Howard had an interception and returned it for a touchdown.

“We’re happy with the win, but we know that we can’t be satisfied,” said Tagovailoa. “We have some tough opponents coming up, and we need to be ready to play our best football.”

The Dolphins will face the Buffalo Bills next week, followed by a game against the Baltimore Ravens. Both teams are currently in the playoff hunt.

“We know that we need to step up our game,” said head coach Mike McDaniel. “We’ve played well so far this season, but we need to be even better if we want to make a playoff run.”

The Dolphins are confident that they can make a deep playoff run this season. However, they know that they will need to play their best football if they want to achieve their goals.
